Ology Essentials Institute was founded by Kayla Fioravanti in Franklin, TN. Kayla Fioravanti has a deep and abiding passion for aromatherapy and natural personal care products. In 1998, Kayla and her husband Dennis co-founded Essential Wholesale, which was listed as an INC. Magazine 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America for three years in a row. Essential Wholesale began in their kitchen with a $50 investment in 1998 and sold for millions in 2011. Through custom formulating, private consultations, publications and public speaking Kayla has literally been involved in thousands of businesses and served countless customers.
Kayla is an award-winning author, certified aromatherapist, and cosmetic formulator. She is a member of Indie Business Network and the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapists. She is a popular speaker with an easy-breezy manner that helps translate scientific information into bite sized plain English education. Kayla is passionate about essential oil safety and education. Ology Essentials Institute offers a self-paced 100+ hour Aromatherapy Certification Program which covers accurate world history of aromatics, anatomy & physiology, chemistry, pathologies, olfaction & human psychology, botany, essential oil profiles, aromatherapy safety, carrier oils & butters, essential oil blending theory, applied aromatherapy, consultation skills, business advice, industry regulations, product recipes, and more. Students will complete case study assignments, write a research paper, gain hands on blending experience, and above all learn about the art and science of aromatherapy. At the end of the course, after a final exam, students will become certified aromatherapists.
